Celebrating PALS 20th Anniversary!!

PALS Programs was founded in 2004 as a place of radical inclusion and welcome for individuals with Down syndrome and their Peers. In 2024, we will be celebrating 20 years of being welcoming, genuine, passionate, supportive, and fun. Over the past two decades, we have hosted 1,133 Partners with Down syndrome and 2,572 Peers without Down syndrome at 112 PALS Programs.

Everyone is welcome to come to our 20th Anniversary celebrations - Participant families, former PALS campers and volunteers, new friends, and anyone who digs our mission of inclusion!

If you feel that the ticket price is a barrier to your attendance at one of these events, please reach out to support@palsprograms.org.

Participants at these Programs do not require tickets - the whole Camp is coming to the party!

This is the first time we are opening up a PALS camp event to friends and family and we’re really excited for you to get a small taste of what our Participants love about PALS! Keep in mind that while many Partners will be happy to see their families in attendance, some might be upset or confused by the change. Also, saying goodbye at the end of the party might be a little upsetting for some folks. Families will have to make the decision that is right for you. We encourage you to talk it over as a family before coming to PALS. And if your young person ends up going home with you after the dance, you’re all more than welcome to come back for Closing Ceremonies at 11am on Saturday!
